Google is funny / “Googe”

February 14th, 2007 by alex

valentine07.gifThe Google’s Valentine’s Day logo is a little bit strange this year, I mean did they forgot the “L” from “googLe” or is hidden and nobody can see it.

I thought the “L” could be the strawberry tail but if is so it can be noticed very hard.

Anyway, with strawberry tail or not this Valentine’s Day logo is very funny. By the way I wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day”.

Oh I’m sure that the strawberry somehow incorporates a G and and L that only a highly trained art student can see … too bad that pretty much counts everyone out that I know. ;)

Hmmm… The “g” is visible I think is made by that chocolate mark but I don’t know about the “l” :) That is strange for me…

I think Google was very hungry after they draw that strawberry chok! :D

I guess Google had some more humor than you think:
Debbie Googe was bassist of My Boody Valentine.

Thanks for that bit of info, Thomas. I saw a dozen blogs remark on the missing L, but this is the first time I’ve seen a good explanation for it.

I think the strawberry tail is the “l”, though it’s hard to be seen.

I tell you whoever has GOOGE.COM parked had a bucketload of traffic head their way. It’s simply a parking page but for a few days at least it probably got 1000’s of hits. I would have thought Google would have grabbed that miss-spell by now but it seems that someone at GoDaddy has it.

Good one. I’m surprised I didn’t even notice it, until you pointed it out. Maybe that was the whole trick, see how many people notice the L missing ? :P

    Nice idea :)

What about the TiSP ? :P Do you know anything about that ?
