Be aware - e-gold spam mails
February 2nd, 2007 by alexIf you received numerous e-mails today from “e-gold” with the subject “e-gold accounts investigations” like I did be aware that those e-mails are spam asking you to go to a page that is not owned by e-gold.com
The page that I am talking about is similar to e-gold login page and when you try to login the spammers receive your e-gold number and password and is possible to steal your money.
Checkout the link included in the e-mail, I am pretty sure that is not e-gold.com:
BTW do you like my drawing ? Anyway be careful !

I’m receiving quite a few of “Update Your PayPal account” emails. One thing is that I don’t have a PayPal account, but I also always mouse over the URLs in emails like that to see the actual URL in the status bar. So, be cautious everybody, always check the URLs and don’t open unknown attachments
